German II is a continuation of German I. Vocabulary building, paragraph writing, oral communication, and the culture of Austria and Switzerland will be the focus of the course.
- A continuation of German I and II, this Honors class will focus on elements of the German language and culture, hereby improving the students' conversation and writing skills in the target language. College credit can be earned in the Spring Semester.
- Following Honors German III, this college-credit course offers students the platform to expand their knowledge of the German language and culture through oral and written communication. Understanding and reproducing a variety of German texts at an intermediate level are the focal points in this class.
- Spanish I is an interdisciplinary course emphasizing not only language and grammar but history, geography, civics, economics, literature, culture and religion. The goals of Spanish I include building a broad and solid base of knowledge, an appreciation of Hispanic cultures and a desire to continue its study. The course incorporates today's technology to communicate within and explore the Spanish speaking world.
The goals and objectives of Spanish II are for students to be completely engaged as they acquire high frequency language structures, listening comprehension skills, proficiency skills using the vocabulary and structures taught in class, and gain an understanding of Hispanic culture and current Hispanic issues.
